The Mediterranean Cradle of World Religions

“A Nation’s Culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people.”

Mahatma Gandhi

Indian lawyer, nationalist and ethicist 1869 – 1948

These travelogues celebrate a diversity of rich culture, heritage, and unique relationships that speak to the core questions and beliefs of the human experience asking: “Who am I?” and “Who is God?” They will place religion within one of the “cradles of civilization” – countries surrounding the Mediterranean.

Filmed as Part of the “Sunday Forum” series at Saint Mark’s, Columbus, Ohio, they were presented over dinners of related ethnic foods, with menus compiled and prepared by members of the parish, representing the hospitality found in the homes of many of our hosts – affirming life’s sustenance is both spiritual and physical.
